Hephaestus

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Hephaestus, a brand new musical from Madison native Nathan Fosbinder.

This program will feature scenes and songs from Music Theatre of Madison's production, Hephaestus, interspersed with analysis and background from professors William Aylward or William Brockliss, experts in Greek mythology from UW-Madison's Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies.

The Doctor is lost in space and time! Join a group of time-traveling adventurers to help the Doctor make it back to the TARDIS and escape the Time Vortex!

Teen Book Discussion: Stuck On Earth

The mission is simple: travel to Planet Earth, inhabit the body of an average teenager, and determine if the human race should be annihilated.

Join us discussing David Klass’s book Stuck On Earth an engrossing look at true friends, truer enemies, and awkward alien first kisses.

Who Art for Teens

Be inspired by the Doctor’s meetings with Vincent van Gogh and create your own piece of Who art. Your resulting artwork may not hang in the Musée d’Orsay but it will be displayed on the 2nd floor of the library!

A Packer Century: 100 Years of Packer History

Jim Rice, will be bringing photos of an extensive memorabilia collection that traces the 100-year history of the Packers from Lambeau to McCarthy at a fairly brisk pace.

Jim has been writing and speaking about Packer history in Wisconsin since 2011. 

As a former history teacher, coach, and school superintendent, sports history has been a lifelong interest of Jim's. He attended Marquette University in the 1970's and has remained in Wisconsin ever since.
