Join us for a discussion of last year's most challenged book according to the American Library Association (ALA), Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe, as a part of Banned Books Week 2024. We will also briefly discuss the state of book banning across the United States in general. Celebrate the freedom to read with Dane County public libraries!

Copies of Gender Queer: A Memoir are available for checkout at the Information Desk. No registration is required to participate in the discussion.

The Banned Books Week 2024 series is sponsored by Beyond the Page with the support of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Madison Community Foundation.
